Pro-Fit Basketball Training’s summer basketball camp will bring out the best in your child’s game. If you live in or around the greater Silver Spring area and have a boy or girl between the ages of 9 and 16 with an interest in basketball, sign them up for our summer basketball camp. Our summer basketball camp in Silver Spring is top-rated in the state as our primary focus is on enhancing children’s basketball skills.

Summer Basketball Done Right

Parents typically envision their child performing a few drills, playing 5-on-5 basketball and engaging in daily practice sessions at summer basketball camp. Though most other basketball camp counselors are willing to provide these basics to campers, Pro-Fit takes youth basketball camp a step further. We provide all camp-goers with the opportunity to engage in 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 basketball to ensure they enjoy ample on-court time. We prefer for camp-goers to compete in these smaller games as full-fledged 5-on-5 basketball does not provide ample opportunity for touches nor the opportunity to learn on-court spacing in the proper manner.

If you have a child ready to take their basketball skills to the next level, Pro-Fit Basketball Training’s Pro-Fit Elite Camp is the number one opportunity for athletes from Silver Spring, MD who want to become elite players. This camp provides an intense training program that focuses on skill development and team building. Pro-Fit Elite Camp’s professional basketball coaches, and former college basketball players, provide expert advice on everything from shooting technique to defensive strategies. Even more importantly, our coaches offer personalized attention and instruction that allows each camper to maximize their potential on the court. Finally, our coaches understand the importance for athletes to have fun while playing basketball; that’s why we ensure that every day includes plenty of drills and activities that keep everyone engaged in the game!

  1. Film study: Campers will experience 30-40 minutes of film breakdown every day, watching how NBA players react to challenging situations. Players will be tasked with replicating the same situations every day of camp.
  2. Skill work: Players will be divided into small groups for dedicated skill work. Each player will have the opportunity for 250-300 jump shots every day with form adjustment/reinforcement as the primary goal.
  3. Strength training: All campers will be introduced to Pro-Fit’s Strength & Conditioning Program. All week long, your child will develop their speed & agility, vertical jump, and power.
  4. Competitive play: While 5v5 is important, Pro-Fit’s elite camp focuses extensively on 2v2 & 3v3 IQ and tactics. Players will receive more opportunities on both sides of the ball and will learn to translate new ideas into the real game.

Campers are to bring their own lunches, or have food delivered to the gym every day. Please refrain from sending your child with peanut products.
